About Soraiah

Born from a moment between arrival and celebration

You arrive at a wedding, find your seat, and wait. The bride and groom are busy with preparations. Guests sit quietly, scrolling their phones. There's a gap between arriving and celebrating — a moment where nothing connects you to the occasion.

Why we built this

The idea for Soraiah came from a simple observation at a wedding. There's always a stretch of dead time between when guests arrive and when the event truly begins. People sit at their tables with nothing to do, no way to interact with the couple or each other.

That gap became the spark: what if guests could contribute photos and messages from their seats, and those moments appeared live on the big screen — filling the room with energy before the event even starts?

Soraiah gives hosts a simple tool — scan, upload, moderate, display — that turns passive waiting into shared celebration. No app downloads, no complicated setup. Just a QR code and a screen.

Why 'Soraiah'?

The name draws from the Malay word riah (رياه), meaning happiness or joy. Soraiah means 'the star' — a fitting name for a product that puts guest moments in the spotlight.

It reflects what we believe events should be: joyful, shared, and alive.

What Soraiah does

Soraiah is a live, interactive guest wall for events — weddings, celebrations, and corporate gatherings across Southeast Asia. Guests scan a QR code from their phones, upload photos and messages, and the host's moderation screen approves content before it appears on the real-time display wall, projected on screens and TVs at the venue. No app download required — it's fully web-based and mobile-first. Available in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Simplified Chinese.
